On October 5-7 RAFA Solutions participated in the most awaited and largest technology exhibition in the region, DigiTec EXPO 2018.
The exhibition was held in “Yerevan Expo” center located in Yerevan Scientific Research Institute of Mathematical Machines.
This year RAFA Solutions interactive presentation included IIoThink Educational Lab and Universal Testing Machines (UTM) automation system. The Industrial IoT Lab provides software and hardware platform for learning the concepts of the IIoT and is adapted to the curriculum of universities and aims to explain the basics of IoT to engineers who want to enter the Industry 4.0. The software application is based on the NI myRIO embedded device.
The second project demonstrated was The Material Testing Machines Automation Platform (MTMAP). MTMAP is a universal solution for machines designed to perform tension, compression, bend, shear strength, fatigue tests and other special tests on metals, composites, plastics, rubber, medical devices and implants, sheet materials, wire and other materials. The platform consists of a controller and a software environment which gives opportunity for the Machine builders to create a new machine, customize it and build the corresponding end-customer’s software via configuration of the platform.
Among other visitors RAFA Solutions’ booth was visited by the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Minister of Education and Science, Minister of Transport, Communications and IT and Minister of Healthcare. The event was a good platform to discuss possible partnerships and collaborations, networking as well as present the company’s career opportunities to potential employees.
