Vanadzor city hosted the second Engineering Forum-Expo that took place at Vanadzor Technology Center (VTC). The objective of this Forum-Expo consisted of demonstrating the achievements in the Engineering field of the Armenian companies, treating the issues as Engineering education in Armenia, the challenges of Engineering business environment and globally sharing the ideas and experience regarding electronics, communication technologies and 5G, mathematical simulation, un-manned vehicles, bio-engineering and chemistry, Big data, Data Science, etc. The framework of participants included Engineering and High-tech enterprises, Scientific Research Institutions, Educational Establishments, donor organizations, some governmental representatives, Armenian and foreign representatives of the sector. RAFA Solutions was also invited to present its robust and advanced engineering solutions. There were over 30 exhibitor engineering companies and the number of visitors exceeded 500. There were lots of interested people in RAFA Solutions’ boot, as we demonstrated our Universal Test Machine (UTM) to make more visible and attractive what we create.
Besides the expo, some interesting sessions about up to date topics were organized during which the experts of this field with valuable and trustful background knowledge conducted panel discussions and answered the questions of audience. The CEO of RAFA Solutions Rafayel Ghasabyan was invited to be the speaker of a session with the subject “New Developments in Electronics”. He confirmed that Armenian engineering hight-tech companies recognize the challenges and obstacles of the international market, are able to overcome them in order to succeed in this field and they walk with international trends no matter the Company is specialized in customer product development or in industry. He also accepted the importance of electronics in any innovation. As an example he presented our IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) product which aims to contribute big industries in decision making processes by collecting data with the help of connected gadgets. Eventually, he highlighted the fact that despite the lack of specialists in this domain our local companies compete with international ones, succeed to enter international markets and even to be leaders.
The Engineering Forum-Expo was a good occasion to resume the successes in the Engineering filed, to discuss developing trends and challenges in order to work more motivated and to be ambitious for new achievements.
