Rafayel Ghasabyan, CEO of RAFA Solutions, has conducted two technical sessions at NIWeek 2016 dedicated to the “Designing Advanced User Interfaces in LabVIEW” and “Advanced Data-Logging Software Architectures“.
Technical session for “Designing Advanced User Interfaces in LabVIEW” provided best practices for designing user-friendly and intuitive UIs for applications developed in the LabVIEW environment. The presentation explored several examples showing the main differences between UI designs depending on applications and intended users.
“Advanced Data-Logging Software Architectures” session explored the main challenges and best practices in data-logging system design in the LabVIEW environment. Also examined the underlying implementation of an object-oriented approach for the application design, covered DAQ tips and tricks for FPGA platforms, an object-oriented programming architecture for real-time and host applications, and data logger best practices in GUI design.
Technical sessions were held during the NIWeek 2016 – National Instruments’ annual graphical system design conference and exhibition. The conference is held in the Austin Convention Center, Texas.
The 22nd annual conference included more than 220 interactive and hands-on sessions, targeted industry summits, and more than 150 exhibitions on the latest advancements in design, research, and test technology. Conference topics include, but are not limited to, aerospace and defense, robotics and autonomous vehicles, energy technology, transportation, RF and wireless, automated test systems, embedded systems, data acquisition systems, and software development techniques.
