RAFA Solutions today announced the release of their new product DAnS (Data Analysis Software).
Engineers of RAFA Solutions created DAnS to make viewing and analysis of logged data more comfortable and easy for users. The product has passed several cycles of testing and further development, to make it a perfect platform for offline analysis.
The product is designed for users who need analysis for already logged data. The software provides a perfect environment for analysis and measurements as well as for data tracking and creating reports.
DAnS Interface gives a possibility to use it in two languages (English/Russian). This option makes DAnS suitable for wide range of users. Moreover, for easy understanding of all software functionality, the product has integrated Help, with detailed descriptions of all product features. For the same reason, i.e. for ease of use, the main interface has a status bar, which can help a lot of first-time users to handle all options easily.
Another privilege of DAnS is its User Interface. Product creators have spent a separate cycle of product development for making the User Interface as nice and convenient as it is possible. We hope that the design of the software will satisfy even the most pretentious users.
The current version of DAnS provides data analysis for data logged in the TDMS file format, which is a widely used format for data collection. The software has a very easy to use interface for selecting data channels from TDMS for viewing and analyzing.
Selected data and multipoint measurements are being plotted on corresponding Graphs (Main Graph and Measurements Graph) for better illustration.
The main window of the product is the window for data analysis. Over 60 different measurements are grouped into 9 types (general measurements, statistics, etc.). The software also provides an embedded calculator, which gives an opportunity to do multipoint calculations (calculations with arrays) as well as single-point.
The program provides a mechanism for exporting data both in TDMS and Excel formats. It is also possible to export images of plotted data.
With DAnS it is also possible to make reports in MS Word, Excel and Adobe PDF formats. The user is given a possibility to select which data he/she wants to appear in the created report.
A separate part of development was given to make the User Interface of the product more pleasing and nice for the end users. This is another privilege of DAnS, which we hope will please almost all users.
To conclude, this new product assembles almost all necessary and wanted options which data analysis software should have. It gives a very convenient environment for analysis and measurements as well as for making reports and exporting information to different file formats.
